Abbeycare Foundation

Abbeycare is a residential drug and alcohol rehab treatment centre operating from two UK locations.
With rehab clinics in Murdostoun, between Glasgow and Edinburgh, and Newmarket, near London, Abbeycare Foundation treats people suffering with alcohol and drug addiction and the problems associated with substance dependence and misuse, and has a 92% successful treatment through recovery rate. Abbeycare Foundation was founded by John MacLean on the back of his own personal tragedy and addiction to alcohol.
Abbeycare Scotland is located in the historical Murdostoun Castle. Constructed by the Scott family in the 15th century as one of the many buildings built as a defensive measure across the Forth and Clyde Valley, it still retains much of its original character today. Murdostoun Castle is just 30 minutes by car from Glasgow city centre, 45 minutes from Edinburgh Airport, and less than an hour from Glasgow and Prestwick International Aiports, and Abbeycare can arrange to collect clients from these locations.
Abbeycare Newmarket is a modern custom-built facility ideally placed for people to overcome alcohol and drug problems. Set in beautiful countryside just outside Newmarket but less than an hours drive from London and thirty minutes from Stanstead Airport it is in a very accessible and convenient location. With 12 luxury double en-suite rooms, safe and private surroundings which are ideal for rehabilitation and recovery.
