Aaron Hancox

Aaron Hancox was born in Oakville, Ontario, and is known making the short films, "Cinema L'Amour" (2006) and "Unheralded" (2011). In 2006, he made "Cinema L'Amour" (2006) with fellow classmate Allie Caldwell. It won the award for Best Student Documentary Production at the Montreal World Film Festival. In 2007, he won the Concordia Medal - the highest honour bestowed on to a graduating student at Concordia University in Montreal. His second film, "Unheralded" (2011) was made with Allie Caldwell through their company CH Films. The popular cult movie night, Grindhouse Wednesdays in Montreal was founded by Hancox in 2009 to support a local charity. |
