Aaron Burns

Aaron Burns (born 8 November 1987 in Manchester, England) is an English football player currently unattached. He most recently played for F.C. United of Manchester, having been released by Manchester United when his contract came to an end.

Career
Aaron began his playing career with his local team, Wythenshawe Amateurs. When he was ten, a scout from Manchester United, the team that he supported, offered him a six week trial. After about three weeks on trial, Burns signed with United, and eventually became part of the Academy team. He made a handful of appearances for the Man Utd Reserve team in the 2006-07 season, before being released in June 2007.

After being released from his Manchester United contract, Burns agreed to play for Afturelding, an Icelandic second division side, throughout the summer whilst he was weighing up his options and then he signed for Cardiff City. However the arrivals of Robbie Fowler and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink meant he did not feature for the Welsh side, and after reconsidering is options, he decided to leave Cardiff.

He moved to UniBond Division One North side FC United of Manchester until the transfer window reopens in January because of a FIFA contractual restriction which doesn't allow him to play for a club above the Unibond level until 1 January 2008. He made 14 appearances, scoring 8 goals for the club before being released on 2 January 2008 .
