A Warriors Trial

Summary
A Warrior's Trial is a story of demons, blood, and love. It has a dark immersing plot that begins almost straight from the beginning. It has a history based off other stories and holds many diffrent races everywhere.
Characters
Mia
Mia was a princess before an assassin came to kill her father and capture her . The assassin failed to capture her but easily succeeded in the kiling of her father. She managed to escape the onslaught of Lycans(werewolves) with her guards Ion and Kyra and a well-known warrior Kal "WolfsBane". After leaving, she traveled with Kal to escape the demon who pursued her. Although Mia lost everything dear to her, she strove to learn how to defend herself with Kal as her teacher. During their travels, Mia began to fall in love with Kal not knowing he is an Elder Demon.
Kal WolfsBane
Kal is a renowned demon hunter and warrior who has fought many battles. Even though he hides it from his companions, Kal's sister Selene knows that Kal is in fact a Elder Demon or an Ancient as called by the elves. On the night of the Blood moon on their twentieth year, every Elder Demon "ascends" or becomes one with their animal spirit inside of them. Every Demon has a tattoo of their spirit burned in their skin from the moment they enter the world. It usually is just a strange insignia or "demon cursemark". Kal's animal spirit is the Silver Wolf, the same as his pet wolf SilverFang.

Ion and Kyra
Mia's guards. Not much is known about their past as they began to protect Mia at her fifteenth birthday and had been engaged to be married a month after Mia's sixteenth birthday.
Viktor
Viktor is a close friend of Mia's. She has known him for all her life. Viktor loves Mia more than anything and vows to protect her from Varek, Michael, and anyone who wanted to hurt her. Allthough Viktor seems like Kal's complete opposite, they have a lot in common, even blood as Viktor is part Elder. he loves Mia so much he kidnaps her to save her from Varek and Kal's fight. Kal eventually catches up with them and easily crushes Viktor using his demon spirit, due to intense training and experience. Viktor's spirit is the Eagle.
Varek
Varek is a Elder Demon like Kal. He is Selene's lover but was lost to her when he fell to the allure of his demon spirit. Due to his shame at losing her, Varek wears a white metal mask to hide his face. He wears armored claw on his left hand because he says,"There is nothing like the feeling of crushing someone's skull and feel their life ebb out of their body." Eve though Varek is a slave to his master Raze, he is allowed much more leniency than any of his subordinates. The reason is not yet known. Varek has vowed to destroy Kal with his own hands for scarring his eye. Varek's animal spirit is the Golden Lion like his hair reflects.
Michael

Michael is the no-nonsense warrior of Raze's that fights fair and serious always. Even though he is an Elder also,he has a intense for dilike for Varek's way of doing things. Example: At a village, Varek comes walking back to the camp carrying a large bottle of mead in high spirits. Michael is second in command if Raze was to fall. His rigorus training and vast experience exceeds Kal's training and he defeats Kal the first time they encounter each other. However, Kal ascends earlier than expected because of his brutal thrashing and he wounds Michael badly. When they meet again, Michael and kal are deadlocked but Michael succeeds in murdering Kyra. Michael's animal spirit is the White Tiger.
Raze
Raze is the true mastermind behind all the chaos. He is powerful, smart, and incredibly cunning. He has ruled weaker demons for centuries and has adopted werewolves into his society. Raze has a human servant named Nina who has a blind devotion to him and will do aanythinng for her master. He has told her that is she proves herself, he will allow her to drink some of his Elder Blood which gives the drinker immortality. Raze is about 300 years old and has refined his skills for a very long time.
Raze wants Mia for the sole purpose of taking her from Kal and using her to open the Gate to Oblivion. Raze's animal spirit is the Red Dragon.
