A Klass Records

A Klass Records is a New Zealand record label started on January 1, 2000. The founding members are K5K and MCslypussy of a multi-genres band called Anti-Kati. Thus far A Klass has released predominantly noise, breakcore and drum and bass, but the label is not limited to releasing these genres. A Klass has released music by international artists such as Knar, Noize Punishment, Anti-Kati, Heartworm, Squee, Idiot Lust, K5K, Rebell Terract and Contra. Many of A Klass Records releases are CD-R and released as A Klass Limited (AKL) in their catalogue. A Klass Records has long used and promoted CD-R technology because of the inexpense, the ease of creation internationally and Durability over regular CDs. An article on the benefits of CDr technology written by Venetic can be found here Another important mention about A Klass Records is that they not only operate as a regular Record label (producing CDs, CD-R and Vinyl) but also as a netlabel where all releases and artwork are free for download and reproduction. The creators of A Klass records also run a parallel net label GOD Rekidz.
