Biography A Forest of Stars (often shortened to AFOS) is a UK based band which was officially formed in 2008, their full title being 'The Gentlemen's Club of A Forest of Stars'. They are heavily influenced by Victoriana in costume and promotional artwork, their roleplayed personas being a club of gentlemen with an interest in the occult. AFOS recently finished their first album (The Corpse of Rebirth) and are currently developing their second album for release around December 2009. Musical Style A Forest of Stars' musical style is best described as black metal but with various avantegarde influences. Presentation When performing live the entire band and support crew are clothed in a Victorian manner, including vintage shirts, waistcoats and top hats. Their live performances also feature a limited phantasmagoria lighting show where a projector is used to light up smoke.
