2015 Note for Vote Scam is bribe giving by Revanth Reddy of Telugu Desam Party to nomainated MLA nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson to vote in favour of the TDP candidate in the 2015 Telangana Legislative Council election Case info On May 31, 2015 Sunday evening with Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested Kodangal MLA Anamolu Revanth Reddy of Telugu Desam Party(TDP) on the charge of trying to bribe a nominated member of the Assembly representing the Anglo-Indian community, Elvis Stephenson. Beside Revanth, the three other accused are Bishop Harry Sebastian, Rudhra Uday Simha and Mathias Jerusalem. Video tapes The whole interaction was also caught on tape. As per police two days before the incident Stephenson has complained the police about bribing. Alerted police have put the secret cameras and recorded the whole interaction on video tape. The television footage reveals Revanth Reddy repeatedly assuring the Anglo-Indian MLA that he had approached the latter at the behest of “my boss” (meaning the TDP supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu). Audio tapes A local news channel in Telangana T News, has aired an audio recording that they claim is proof that the cash-for-vote case had the full backing of Telugu desam party president Chandrababu Naidu.
