2 people have died after a shooting Saturday in a central Florida mall while a third person was injured in the shooting at the Melbourne Square Mall Callers to 911 reported the shooting at about 9:30 a.m 20 minutes before the mall officially opened when about 100 people were inside the mall at the time of the shooting which was confirmed by the Melbourne Police Department police Cmdr. Vince Pryce and West Melbourne Police Department FBI agents and Brevard County Sheriff's Office are investigations this shooting Elizabeth Trickle and Donna Evans of Melbourne were in the food court preparing to eat when they heard a "pop, pop." "We had just gotten our food to sit down by Starbucks and Chick-fil-A, and you just hear the 'pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop,' and you just drop everything and your body just makes you run," said Evans Suspects Jose Garcia Rodriguez, 57 is believed to have been the shooter and died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Injured Idanerys Garcia-Rodriguez, 33 is in stable condition at a local hospital. An unidentified male victim was killed by Jose Garcia Rodriguez Reactions Melbourne Mayor Kathy Meehan said the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute between a woman who worked at the mall's food court and her husband.
