2013 Dunlop V8 Supercar Series season

The 2013 Dunlop V8 Supercar Series season will be the fourteenth running of the category. 2012 was the last year the Ford BF Falcon was accepted. The Holden VE Commodore and the Ford FG Falcon are the sole manufacturers' cars accepted, the first time both manufacturers can only field one car type. Since the V8 Supercars are switching to the new "Car of the Future" regulations, the series contenders will most likely attempt to purchase some of the current cars racing in the V8 Supercars.
Teams and Drivers
* MW Motorsport purchased the FG Falcons used by Ford Performance Racing's Mark Winterbottom and Will Davison in the 2012 V8 Supercars Championship.
* Geoff Emery's team bought the Triple Eight Race Engineering Holden Commodore used by Craig Lowndes in the 2012 V8 Supercars Championship.
