The 2011 failed Gothenburg terrorist attack occurred at about midnight on 10 September 2011. when four people were arrested in Gothenburg, Sweden under suspicion of trying to bomb the Röda sten gallery or possibily the Älvsborg Bridge in Gothenburg. Initial statements by police Police in Gothenburg said in a statement they had evacuated the Röda Sten arts center, located beneath the city's landmark half-mile (933-meter) Älvsborg bridge, due to a threat deemed to pose "serious danger for life, health or substantial damage of property."<ref name="police arrest four"/> |
