1d4Con is a three-day gaming convention currently held at The Hampton Inn in Winchester, VA. The name is derived from the podcast, 1d4cast, also created by James Winfield. 1d4Con is held once a year and is usually in the last weekend of April, buy could end up in the first weekend of May depending on the dates of Winchester's Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival. 1d4Con is operated by a dedicated group of volunteers pulled from the 1d4cast and their friends. The Convention is run by James Winfield and these core members of the 1d4Con family: Alicia Winfield, Stephen Horrocks, John Foster III, Monica Speca, Andy Buffington, Paul Carlson, Katie Horrocks, Henry Ulrich, Anthony Keller, Bryan Clark, and Samantha McMullen.
