10ZiG Technology, formerly known as BOSaNOVA, Inc., are developers of Thin Clients, Network Appliances and security solutions. 10ZiG (BOSaNOVA) is a privately held company headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. The company’s products are sold through a worldwide network of IBM, CITRIX, and VMware Business Partners.
Industry affiliations include membership in IBM's PartnerWorld for Developers, Citrix Ready Partner Program, VMware Partner Program, and the Microsoft Partner Program. VendorRate voted 10ZiG as a top vendor in the thin client and workstation market.
About 10ZiG (BOSaNOVA)
BOSaNOVA, Inc was created in 2003 as an independent spin off from BOS (Better On-Line Solutions). BOSaNOVA released and distributed a range of thin client and network appliance solutions for Linux, XP, and CE.Net.
In 2007 BOSaNOVA released a new security encryption appliance to encrypt data tapes. The appliance, named the Q3 Storage Security Encryption is used to prevent sensitive data from being compromised. If a tape gets lost or stolen.
In 2008 BOSaNOVA started focusing on developing partnerships within the virtual desktop market. In May 2008 they created a joint solution with Ericom for Desktop Virtualization and Server Based Computing. In February 2009 BOSaNOVA partnered with Leostream Corporation to deliver enterprise-class virtual desktop infrastructure VDI.
By March 2009 BOSaNOVA Thin Clients completed the VMware Hardware Certification Program and were listed on the VMware Hardware Compatibility Guide. This certification ensured that BOSaNOVA Thin Clients are compatible with VMware technology and ready for deployment in customer environments.
Today 10ZiG (BOSaNOVA) thin clients are integrated with the latest virtual desktop clients including VMware View, Citrix XenDesktop, Leostream Connection Broker, Quest vWorkspace, 2X VirtualDesktopServer and Ericom PowerTerm Web Connect.

In 2009 BOSaNOVA changed their name to 10ZiG. When 10ZiG obtained the rights to products sold under the BOSaNOVA name, they were obligated to continue servicing existing customers.
Thin Clients and The Environment
Research found that PCs use twice as much energy as a thin client. PCs average between 65 - 250 watts of energy whereas thin clients require only about 40 watts including the server.
