1000 Crime Quiz was written by Anil Aggrawal in 1992. This was his first book. The book provides 1000 questions related to crime and crime detection with informative and educational and explanatory answers. This was one of the first Indian books on crime which was written in a quiz format. Some notable sections in the book were History of poisoning, Scene of Crime, Capital Punishment, Female criminals, Prostitution, Mystery and Scandal, Spies, Murderous doctors, Crime in Literature, Highwaymen and Outlaws, Pirates and Buccaneers, Crime Movies, War Crimes and Gambling. A special feature of this book was that it included a picture quiz also. The book was well-received by the public.
