Zoomorama

Zoomorama makes it possible to create online magazines which are known as Zoomazines. This is a very easy process which simply involves pasting images and multimedia content. The idea behind the site is to enable users to create a magazine which will rival LIFE magazine. LIFE uses a lot of images in its magazines and this is what the creators of Zoomorama are allowing you to do. It’s much easier to explain using pictures rather than with lots of text, it also makes it possible to easily design your magazine to make it as attractive as possible. Zoomorama have created Zoom Creator and Zoom Local, these both make it easier to express your feelings on the internet.

History

Franklin Servan-Schreiber founded Zoomorama, based on work he did at the Sony Research Laboratories in the mid-nineties. The Zooming Browser for Collage of High Resolution Images was released in Alpha in October 2007. Zoomorama's browser is all Flash based.
