Zaka Khogyani

Zakaullah (Zaka) Khogyani served as FAA Director of Operations of Mesa Airlines, Inc. and was appointed effective January 2008.

From his joining the Company as Pilot, Mr. Khogyani served in numerous leadership positions including, from May 1997 to March 2000, as Assistant Chief Pilot. From March 2000 to August 2002 Mr. Khogyani served as FAA Certificate Chief Pilot. From August 2002 to June 2003, he served as Manager of Flight Standards. From June 2003 to July 2004, Mr. Khogyani served as Director of System Operations Control. From July 2004 to February 2006 Mr. Khogyani served as Vice President of Flight Operations and FAA Director of Operations at the Air Midwest Airlines division. From November 2006 to January 2008 Mr. Khogyani served as Senior Director of Dispatch Operations, responsible for the dispatching of approximately 1,100 flights per day.

Mr. Khogyani also served as Instructor and Check Airman on various aircraft. Mr. Khogyani is rated on BE-1900, CL-65, and EMB-145 aircraft.
