Viewpoints
Yu Bo focuses on regional innovation and industrial transformation. He advocates integrating universities, research institutes, and industries to build technology-driven industrial chains in fields like new materials, bioeconomy, and equipment manufacturing. He wants to break down institutional barriers to increase the rate of technology commercialization and improve enterprise research and development (R&D) capabilities by focusing on innovation ecosystems and dual-track development (introducing new technology and conducting independent research). For regional revitalization, he suggests cross-provincial collaboration (e.g., linking Heilongjiang's innovation hubs with national-level zones in Jilin and Liaoning) to overcome geographical limitations.
