Young Check'a
Fredrick Earl Wilson, III (born March 11, 1999), better known by his stage name Young Check'a, is an American independent hip hop artist. He was born in Lynwood, Illinois. He is best known for his single Cliché from his EP Never Seen (EP)
Early life
Fredrick Earl Wilson, III was born on March 11, 1999 in Illinois. His father is a Pastor and his mother is a Teacher. His stage name, Young Check'a, came at a summer camp that he attended and people around the camp were calling him "Checker Fred" as a joke because of the Checker Fred from the movie Barbershop (film)'', so went with it then eventually put Young in front and stylizedCheck'a'' and he also started his rap career at the camp at the age of 11 then started taking it serious around the age of 14 where he started learned how to use Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and Garageband to record his music. He graduated from Thornton Fractional South High School in Lansing, Illinois
Career
Young Check'a released his debut single titled Cliché on February 23, 2016 independently under his record label Sonic Allusion Industries, then he later released another single titled Complicated Love on May 17, 2016, which featured vocals from Kid Cobra and Mainee Both singles ended up on his debut EP titled Never Seen (EP), which he released on September 3, 2016 and also had remixed versions of both Cliché and Complicated Love to ultimately promote his record label and the artists that are signed to it under it.
