Youguys Media

Youguys Media is an online marketing consulting firm and multimedia content production company with a focus on music and entertainment properties and productions. They specialize in creating quality multimedia content spotlighting musicians and entertainment productions, and using social networking and viral marketing to promote the content and subject for the purposes of brand awareness and monetization. In addition, they also handle development for a growing list of musicians, and have partnered with several organizations including the Manhattan Center to offer management, production, recording, and distribution deals to artists.

History

Youguys Media was founded as Youguys Publishing in July 2004. Started by Jared Polin and Ari Halbkram, it was originally started as the publishing management company for FUZZ Music Magazine, however The Title and structure were updated in August 2005 to more accurately reflect the business model, as it had changed from its initial purposes.

FUZZ Music Magazine

FUZZ Music Magazine was created to showcase musicians and recording artists who had been overlooked by other music-related publications. The concept was founded on quality editorial and photography work, presenting readers with a candid perspective into the lives and careers of musicians. FUZZ was transitioned into an online-only publication in 2005 due to lack of funding.
