The firm has been consistently ranked as one of the most prestigious in Korea, and its clients include multinational companies and financial institutions. The firm currently has offices in Seoul, Tokyo and Tashkent.

History

The firm arose from two predecessor firms, Yoon & Partners and Roh & Yang, both located in Seoul, Korea. Yoon & Partners was a leading Korean law firm founded in 1989 with strong practices in the areas of antitrust, corporate, intellectual property, securities, international transactions and arbitrations. Roh & Yang was founded in 1993 and specialized in civil, criminal, tax litigation and arbitration. These two firms merged to form Yoon & Yang LLC in 2003. In 2006, Yoon & Yang LLC merged with Kim Shin & Yu which was one of the first law firms in Korea, founded in 1967.
