Yesterday Was Mine

Yesterday Was Mine are a rock band - based in London, United Kingdom. The band consists of Paul Taite (Vocals and bass guitar), Adam Leggett (lead guitar/vocals) and Steve Taite (drums/vocals). They have released one full-length eleven track album to date.

Paul Taite was also a founding member and bass player for an NZ band called Goodnight Nurse.

History

Richard O'Brien inspiration (2001)

In 2001 Paul was carrying gear for 60 Minutes to film a documentary on The Rocky Horror Show. During a break Paul spoke to Richard O'Brien AbOUT music, Richard subsequently suggested to Paul that he start to write his own music as most musicians never do. Paul then began working on his own material. Yesterday Was Mine have unintentionally played one show every year since their first live show in 2005.

This Time (2008)

This Time is YWM's debut album: It was released on June 21st 2008 after being recorded and produced by the band over an eight month period in a front bedroom flat. Garageband was used to record ten of the eleven album tracks, and with no album production costs - the album was released for no charge on their website and more recently to iTunes as a podcast.
