Words are Currency
Tammy was born in Syracuse New York as an only child, and never knew her biological father.
Tammy's mother Judy was a single unwed teen who worked as a secretary. Tammy's mother eventually married Roger Kling, a 101st Airborne paratrooper who later became an entrepreneur and owner of a fork lift truck company. Tammy credits her love for cars and trucks to his influence.
When Tammy was 7 her biological father committed suicide, and Tammy's mother moved her to Florida. Tammy attended school there, rode horses, and played on the beach. Her father Roger bought her a Boston Whaler boat and passed on his love for the ocean.
Tammy went to college and graduated from the University of Florida with an advertising degree from the College of Journalism and Communications. After more than a decade working in the corporate world for American Airlines and SABRE, Tammy wrote her first book.
Tammy's since helped hundreds of others through their books, with the goal of helping men and their families define their family and business legacy.
Tammy's book The Compass was a global best seller and her co author created a film that featured Tammy, Les Brown, Tony Jeary and several other global thought leaders.
Tammy's book WORDS has been utilized in training by the Ritz Carlton, Pepsi, and other corporations.
