Wolfgang Santner

Wolfgang Santner (born 1 January 1970) is an Austrian film director and producer.

Early life

Wolfgang Santner grew up in Graz, Austria, where he attended the University of Graz and graduated from law school in 1999. He holds degrees in marketing, business management, English, French, and MusicAL Studies.

Career

At the age of 18 he started to work for Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF) as a director and producer. During his career at ORF, Santner directed 30 documentaries and TV Shows, as well as a number of segments for other European television networks.

Personal life

In 2004 Santner moved to Los Angeles, California. His wife Claudia Farrokhnia is from Vienna.

Santnerco is involved with the Mirno More Friedensflotte charity. The "Peace Fleet" helps young children, orphans from the Yugoslav Wars. Wolfgang directed and produced numerous international TV ads to raise awareness and money for the charity.
