WineFi

WineFi is a London-based company specializing in fine wine investment.

WineFi utilises a syndicate model to allow investors to co-invest in portfolios of fine wine, as well as offering private wine portfolios. It also uses real-time pricing data and financial algorithms to identify wines with strong growth potential.

History

WineFi was founded in May 2023 as a platform for people to co-invest in curated portfolios of fine wine. It was founded by current chief executive Callum Woodcock and Operations Director Oliver Thorpe.

In November 2023, WineFi received support from SFC Capital, Founders Capital, and various others associated with companies such as BlackRock and JP Morgan.

In November 2024, WineFi partnered with Lympid to create a tokenized platform which enables fine wine investment through fractional ownership. The collaboration allows clients to access and trade shares in high-value wine assets.

WineFi also secured £1.5 million ($2 million) from Coterie Holdings, SFC Capital, Founders Capital, and various investors in June 2025.

In July 2025, WineFi launched a fine wine investment syndicate in partnership with wine merchant Lay & Wheeler.
