Willie's Nerve Clinic

Willie's Nerve Clinic is a Southern California based Funk/Rock/Jam band. The band was started in 2004 as a collaborative effort between guitarist/singer/songwriter Chuck Smith and former bassist of Incubus (band), Alex Katunich. It later came to include the talents of drummer, Aaron Haggerty, and vocalists Rachel Nicole, Nicole Riviera, Leo ???, and Bryan Archer. The lineup changed when Leo and Nicole left, leaving Rachel to share lead vocals with Chuck, and Bryan adding his guitar to the picture.

WNC's first gig was April 6, 2006 at the Canyon Club in Agoura hills. They have since played two other shows, one in Petaluma the following June, and again in November at Paladino's in the Valley.

Sound

The uniqueness of WNC comes from the varying talents of all the members. The core of The Rhythm section is Aaron and Alex, who mesh incredibly well together, creating a tight feel that drives the band. Chuck's unique improvisational Jazz/Rock/Funk guitar style adds an element of surprise to every song, with something new to enjoy every time. The band is fronted by Chuck, Rachel, and Bryan's complex vocal harmonies, which provide a thick and musically interesting presentation of the lyrics, which are written by Chuck.
