Wicked Choppers
Wicked Choppers was created by motorcycle enthusiasts for motorcycle enthusiasts who want what no one else has; a one of a kind, built-to-order custom tailored chopper.
Serial entrepreneur and rising chopper design celebrity Chris Shoemaker got into the business with the customization of a Harley-Davidson Fatboy for himself. Shoemaker wanted a bike that was unlike any other. The Fatboy he designed and built was just the start.
The Myrtle Beach, SC based bike builder was officially born in 2002. Its first from the ground-up custom designed chopper - Wicked Monster - caught the eye of EasyRiders Magazine and appeared on the cover, as did the Wicked Warlock. Wicked Choppers has taken top honors at a number of bike shows. Most recently, the Wicked Warlock won at EasyRiders’ Louisville show, receiving 25 percent more votes than the next nearest competitor.
Shoemaker refuses to build the same bike twice, which ensures that all Wicked Choppers bikes are unique. With a clean look and patented in-tank gauges, each creation has its own style, much of it drawn from the personality of the prospective owner. Besides taking inseam and reach measurements, Wicked Choppers gets into the head of each owner, and asks about a variety of things including color, design and graphics preferences.
Many chopper builders are not certified motorcycle manufacturers, which means their bikes can't be financed, insured or legally ridden. Wicked Choppers is a certified motorcycle manufacturer.
