Wheatland Athletic Association

The Wheatland Athletic Association (WAA) http://www.waasports.org is a non-profit parent volunteer organization which provides Youth Athletic Programs to all residents of the District 204 school community (Naperville/Aurora, Illinois) and surrounding areas. WAA was founded in 1977 to provide T-Ball for 60 children. Today they have over 15,000 participants for children 2 - 18 was well as adult programs. Wheatland offers, soccer, baseball, softball and basketball for both boys and girls. The level of play goes from recreational to the more intense travel programs.

Team Chicago is the travel soccer program of the WAA.

Wheatland Ducks Baseball Club began in 2002 with one travel team and has since grown to twelve teams, ranging in age from 10-15. The original Ducks team was primarily composed of players from the WAA Wheatland Majors baseball program, which continues to fuel growth in the Ducks program. The Primary focus of the program has always been developing young men of character and class. The program offers kids AbOUT 50-60 games and year-round training and instruction. All Ducks teams are coached by experienced volunteers and supported by generous sponsors from the local business community.
