What's Next for Sarah?
What's Next For Sarah is an American web series on Vimeo. It premiered on August 13, 2014, and was created by and stars Jennette McCurdy in the lead role as Sarah Bronson. Sarah is an actress whose hit show got cancelled and because of that cancellation her life gets even worse; her boyfriend breaks up with her for her show getting cancelled and so instead of acting Sarah wants to meet the real world.
The show is inspired by McCurdy's life in acting and Hollywood. The character Sarah Bronson is based loosely on her with some scenes based directly on actual events and others greatly exaggerated for comedic effect. The series is written by McCurdy who also serves as the show's executive producer and lead editor. The show is Jennette's first foray into screenwriting and producing a show.
Plot
Sarah Bronson (McCurdy), a young actress, finds out that her hit show has been cancelled. Due to this, her boyfriend breaks up with her and people are no longer interested in pictures with her or autographs from her. After trying to pick up new roles, she realizes that she wants to return to the real world and give acting a break for a while.

ShortSummary = Sarah sees a therapist (guest star Mary Scheer). After finding out that her therapist won't be any help to her, she leaves and goes to a juice shop. She orders a drink, and is ripped off because the drink is limited supply. A "friend" named Gloriana comes to the store and gets a call from a casting director for a project that Sarah would be "perfect" for. ShortSummary = Sarah auditions for the part in the movie, but doesn't get it. She then meets with her agents and they tell her that she needs to change her look (they tell her to dye her hair purple). She does so, and hates it. Her friend then changes it back, but makes her hair shorter, and Sarah says it's better but she doesn't like it. Her agents call again, offering her a role (requiring her to have the purple hair), which she turns down and decides that she wants to try out the "normal" life.
