Weeping Blood Axe of the Mountain Troll

Weeping Blood Axe of the Mountain Troll is a British doom metal band.

The band was formed in 2006 and played its first gig at the Leicester Pregnant Woman's Society Fete in April of that year. The band recorded Holy Castle in the Valley of the Goblins later in 2006 containing the first versions of "Bloodied Spear of the Unforgiving Martyr", "Blood of Mine Enemies" and a cover of "This Charming Man" and made it available.

Jack Peach and James Stafford amicably left the band for personal reasons in April 2006, and went on to form the hit Doom Metal band Storyville. They were replaced by a drum machine called "The Gorgoroth", and a new guitarist Ernold Crabs. The band appeared on the cover of the 2006 EDition of the Pregnant Woman's Society magazine.
