Waterflame

Christian Krogsvold, also known as Waterflame, is a Norwegian musician and electronic music composer. He is best known for his music tracks on the 2013 mobile game Geometry Dash. He has received over 250,000 subscribers, and has 70 million views on his channel on YouTube.

Music career

Krogsvold first began creating art on his account on Newgrounds at the age of 14, which he opened on April 4, 2003. In 2004, he created his first music track Thunderzone on a software named Music2000. The track was remade two times a year later in 2005, and ten years in 2015.

Krogsvold created his YouTube channel in June 2007, using the name waterflame89, after the last two digits of his birth year, first uploading a remix of "Freestailo", a popular meme during that time. He uploaded the first music track with art on YouTube at the same time of the remix's upload. He formerly processed music on Music2000, which then he used various new INSTRUMENTS, such various types of the Roland PCR Keyboard series and FL Studio, which was formerly known as FruityLoops. He began working as a music composer at the age of 18.

In 2009, he released his first album Green online. He has released other types of albums in late 2010 to present. He later renamed his channel Waterflame in 2014.

Presently, Krogsvold CREATES pixel art and electronic music on Newgrounds and his website. He uses FL Studio and Roland keyboards currently to compose new music tracks and songs, mainly for video games.
