Ward 10 (Toronto)
Ward 10 in the city of Toronto covers the eastern half of York Centre riding. It is in the former city of North York and covers neighbourhoods such as Newtonbrook and Dublin Heights. It is currently represented by Mike Feldman.
History
Ward 10 was first created in 1969 when two wards were added to the city following the abolition of the Board of Control. It originally covered Rosedale and the eastern part of North Toronto. In 1988 the Toronto ward map was changed when the direct election of Metro Toronto councillors was introduced. This relocated Ward 10 to the eastern Beaches part of the city. After amalgamation Ward 10 was located in North York, covering the North York City Centre area.
