Wander Pires
Considered by many as one of the greates interpreters of the Carioca carnivals, Wander Pires iniciated his carreer in GRES Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel, in 1990, when he supported Paulinho Mocidade. Four years later, Wander starred as the oficial interpreter of the school.
Nowadays he is in GRES Acadêmicos do Grande Rio and the samba school Cova da Onça of Uruguaiana .

Curiosities
- Wander Pires is cousin of Andrezinho, member of the Molejo Group, and son of the deceased Mestre André, famous director of the drum kit of the green-and-white of Padre Miguel.
- Also succeeded in the midst of the year with the music Liga para o meu celular (Call my Cellphone), of Noca da Portela and Toninho.
- Most requested interpreter in the eliminations of sambas-enredo of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
