Waiheʻe River

The Waiheʻe River is a river on the Hawaiian island of Maui. It begins at on the slopes of Puʻu Kukui on Mauna Kahālāwai and flows generally northeast, with a total length of to its mouth at Waiheʻe-Waiehu in the Pacific Ocean. The watershed covers an area of 7.1 square miles. The name Waiheʻe translates to "squid water/liquid."

The river is commonly viewed from atop the Waiheʻe Ridge, a popular hike overlooking the Waiheʻe River valley.
