Voicefive is a global market research company that monitors and evaluates the behavior of Internet Trends on behalf of other companies.

History

Voicefive is a subsidiary of analytics company ComScore Networks. It began in the year 2000 in Reston, Virginia.

Data and collection

VoiceFive network conducts its research by surveying their consumers or by utilizing private market research communities. Some of the communities involved are Impact Network and Premier*Opinion. Surveys are conducted via online, mail, email, and through their affiliations with web companies including AOL. VoiceFive also conducts surveys for third parties, and may drop cookies in support of those survey efforts. One such partner is Google.

Websites such as Donottrackplus.com state that VoiceFive and other similar sites may eventually create a profile for individuals by gathering the information found in tracking search results. These profiles may then be exchanged or sold to other websites for advertising or marketing.
