Method of Operation
Voice123 operates a competitive marketplace for both voice-over talents and employers. Employers post projects on the website and have voice-over talents compete for their advertised positions. The voice-over talents submit an audition of an employer-defined script to the site and employees then choose a talent to perform their job. To aid in their task Voice123 provides employers with the results Voice123's SmartCast algorithm.
Voice123's SmartCast algorithm
The Voice123 SmartCast algorithm sorts the talents' qualifications by those who best meet the employer's needs, based on information provided in user profiles and projects posted for voice over work. For example, the algorithm takes into account several talent qualifications such as gender, desired voice age and quality based on feedback (among other factors) and automatically invites talents to audition and adds them to the online voice casting process of the employer. The algorithm determines these characteristics by comparing the talent's qualifications to a database of thousands of other voice overs in the database.
Search
Voice123 has a search feature that allows employers to search a database of voice talents and listen to their demo recordings to find the voice talent they require. The search can include parameters for gender, native language, age, location, as well as, production and delivery requirements.
