VISIONS Clubhouse

VISIONS Clubhouse is a dynamic combination of job-readiness, social and educational opportunities for adults in recovery from mental illness in the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community. This clubhouse is built around the The Clubhouse Model of Psychosocial Rehabilitation. VISIONS is operated by the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board (RRCSB).

Employment

VISIONS assists members in identifying their job-readiness skills and finding employment.

Transitional Employment is a program that provides part-time placements in entry level jobs in the community. VISIONS placement managers locate and assess these jobs, train participants, and provide ongoing support for each job site. Each placement lasts for six to nine months and gives the member an opportunity to develop or renew basic employment skills, self-confidence, and a reference.

Customized Employment is the next step in the employment process. Members pick the type of work they want and staff supports them in finding a job, Providing ongoing training and supports. All this is done with no cost to the employer or interruption in the work environment.

Socials

VISIONS offers a variety of social opportunities for its members during the week and on the weekends. These opportunities include: conferences, shopping, parties, outdoor recreation, game NiGHTS and much more.

Hours

Mon – Fri, 8:30 to 4:30. Some evening & weekend hours

Cost

Medicaid covers 100% of fees for insured members; self-pay members can request a sliding scale fee.

Membership

Members work side-by-side with staff to operate a successful program and work toward the fulfillment of their individual goals.

VISIONS members come from Culpeper, Madison, Orange, Fauquier, and Rappahannock counties by referral from RRCSB case managers.

Transportation

Transportation is available through the RRCSB Transit Division.

Lunch

A subsidized lunch by USDA CACFP is provided with membership.
