Vishnu Mishra

Vishnu Mishra is (, born 16 April 1975, Allahabad, India) an Indian playback singer, music producer, music director, song writer and lyricist from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Early life and background

He was born to father Alopideen Mishra and mother Seva Devi on 16 April 1975 in Saryupareen Brahmin family in Allahabad, India. Mishra began singing at a very young age. His mother was his sole inspiration and it is with her help that he could enter in the world of music. At an early age itself he started performing stage shows, also used to sing Bhajan at many occasions. He finally make up his mind and become determined to make it big in the music industry.

He has learnt music under the guidance of Dr. P.S. Rajvedi, a disciple of Pandit Ramashray Jha and Shankari Guha, a disciple of Ramashankar Shrivastava. He also took rigorous training from Anjana Nath, a disciple of classical maestro Pandit Ajay Chakroborthy. Vishnu Mishra was honoured with Sangeet Prabhakar from Prayag Sangeet Samiti at Allahabad.

Career

Vishnu Mishra has given his voice for several Hindi, Bengali and Bhojpuri films and for serials. He has worked with Ravindra Jain, Suresh Wadkar, Anup Jalota, Udit Narayan, Hema Malini, Jaya Prada, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kumar Sanu, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Pamela Jain, Sadhna Sargam, Vinod Rathod, Kalpana Patowary, Indu Sonali, Soham, Roop Kumar Rathod, Sonu Kakkar and Rekha Rao etc.

During the beginning of his career, he was the lead singer of a band called "Manch" because of that he became an important part of All India Radio, Allahabad and gained popularity in all over India.

In 1997, Vishnu Mishra came to Mumbai to start his MusicAL journey. He was launched for the first time as the lead singer in the album 'Ganesh Vandana' under the banner of Trigun Music Company in 1998. Vishnu Mishra has learn and assisted an iconic music director like Ravindra Jain in many big projects and also performed with him in many live shows for five long years.

He also sang for television serial Jai Mahalakshmi composed by Ravindra Jain. As an assistant music director, he worked with Ravindra Jain in films like Baba Ramdev Peer, which was produced by Vinod Pitti, Ek Aur Amar Prem produced by Raju Mawani, Shaheed Bhagat Singh produced by Ramanand Sagar, 'Dharam Juddho', a Bengali film that was produced by Ashok, 'Maharathi Karna' a TV serial produced by Sanjay Khan and a Bhojpuri film 'Gaon Aaja Pardeshi'. Vishnu has composed and given his voice for several famous Bhajan and devotional albums including 'Mere Ram Krishna Hanuman (2000)', Shri Ram Hare Ghanshyam Hare (2001)', 'Durgavtaar (2007)', 'Chalo Sakhi Maihar (2008)', 'Hamro Dauriya Bhagaoo Maiya Ji Ke Lawa (2008)', 'Guru Vandana (2009)', 'Maa Tujhe Manane Aaya Hun (2013)',., "Hey Bhole Bhayharan Nath", Bhojpuri films 'Tohar Pyaar Chahi (2005)', 'Jab Pyaar Ho Gael (2008)', 'Hamau Karab Chhaiyan Chhaiyan (2007)', 'Akhiya Basal Tohari Suratiya (2011)', 'Bagaavat Ego Badla (2012)' 'Mohabbat Ke Jang (2013)', ' was music directed by himself. As music was composed, written and sung by him for the serial 'Shri Bhaktmaal'. Apart from these films, he has assisted Ravindra Jain in the dance ballet 'Yashoda Krishna' produced by Hema Malini, and 'Amrapali', produced by Jaya Prada. He sang Hanuman Chalisa, aired on Sanskar TV. As of now he is a full fledged music director and also live performer for devotional songs.
