Vidup Agrahari
Vidup Agrahari (Born :1969)is an Indian playback singer who is best known for his album Kaisi Ye Deewangee telecastes on Doordarshan.
Early life
Born at Manikpur city of Pratapgarh district in Uttar Pradesh, Vidup Agrahari did his education at Allahabad and Kanpur.His farther Shyama Charan Gupta is senior politician and Member of Parliament (MP) from Samajwadi Party and founder of Shyama Group which produce large quantity of Shyam Bidi in Uttar Pradesh. Since school, he has been taking part in various singing competitions and winning awards. He grew up listening to songs by Manna Day, Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammad Rafi and Kishore Kumar. Before [...] his first album, he took rigorous training in music and voice control. Vidup prefers soft melodious songs more than boisterous loud songs.
Career
Vidup had launched his first album Kaisi Yeh Deewangee in 2004 and has come out with his second music album ‘Jaane Kya Dekh Liya’ under the label of Venus. Its music is composed by Prakash Ashish and has lyrics by Faaiz Anwar. Music video of title track jaane kya dekh liya is shot at Bangkok with Vidup, TV Actress Surveen Chawla and Shibani Dandekar.Singer Vidup Agrahari is very happy because his song Jaane Kya Dekh Liya from the same album, has reached to number 9 spot on DD1.In a Interview with media Says Vidup, “It’s a good feeling. Music for me is a passion. To be appreciated for it inspires you to do more and better work.”
After “Kaisi Ye Deewaangee” Vidup did some playbacks in few films and again come up with new album “Jaane Kya Dekh Liya”. In this album lyrics are penned by the famous lyricist Faaiz Anwaar, who gave end number of hit songs to Hindi Film Industry including to “Tere Mast Mast Do nain” from the hit movie of Salman Khan, Dabangg. All these songs are beautifully composed by the composer duo “Prakash-Ashish”. “Jaane Kya Dekh Liya” is released by venues taped and records Pvt. Ltd. And from the release itself it has started gaining popularity and entered in the list of chartbusters of Doordarshan’s program DD to 10 and in many digital web media.
