Victoria miles
Victoria Helen Miles is a British financial executive and investor. She is a Founding Partner And Co-Chief Executive Officer of ImpactA Global, an institutional loan manager focused on sustainable infrastructure investments in emerging markets. She previously spent over two decades at J.P. Morgan, serving as a Managing Director in emerging markets trading, syndication, and research.
Early life and education
Miles studied at Durham University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish.
Career
Miles began her financial career as an economist and banking supervisor at the Bank of England. She subsequently spent five years working in emerging markets fixed-income research at UBS.
In 2000, Miles joined J.P. Morgan, where she held several senior leadership positions over a 20-year tenure. She served as Co-Head of Global Emerging Markets Corporate Research before transitioning to bespoke credit and structured finance in 2010. She later served as Managing Director within the firm's London Emerging Markets trading and syndication teams. Between 2010 and 2015, she also represented J.P. Morgan on the Supervisory Board of AccessBank Azerbaijan.
In 2021, Miles co-founded ImpactA Global alongside Isabella da Costa Mendes to unlock capital for climate transition and sustainable infrastructure projects across emerging and frontier markets. She also serves on the advisory boards of Exagon Impact Capital and Sureco and Partners.
