Venu Nuguri

Venu Nuguri is the CEO and Managing Director of Hitachi Energy, India and South Asia. He also serves as the Region Head of South Asia at Hitachi Energy. Nuguri was the Chairman of the Karnataka chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He was the South Asia Head for ABB’s Power Grids business till 2018. He is also the Chairman of the Task Force on Energy Transition at CII Southern Region. He has initiated social projects, including healthcare, afforestation and providing 360-degree support to several hundred women in engineering.

Education

Nuguri has a degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Warangal, and has also been accredited with management courses from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and the International Institute of Management Development, Switzerland.
