Venkatraman Movva

Venkatraman Movva is a media owner and millionaire based in Bangalore, India. Movva has made his fortune in the advertising and construction businesses.

Movva is the son of the late millionaire builder Subbarao Movva, and was educated at Baldwin Boys High School and Bishop Cotton Boys School before attending college in Salt Lake City, Utah. Movva lives in his family home (built by his father in the 1970's) on the 8B Road (a quiet lane nestled between the 9th and 10th Main Roads) in the exclusive locality of Sadhashivnagar in Bangalore, with his wife and three children.

On Monday December 5th, 2005, Movva suffered a stroke in his home and was taken to Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. He was discharged from the hospital on December 21st, 2005, and is recuperating in his home.
