Vantage Communications is a medium-sized public relations firm headquartered in San Francisco, California. Founded by Ilene Adler in 1990, the firm has additional office locations in Orlando and New York. The company serves clients in North America and internationally in high technology markets, including semiconductors, Web 2.0, IP communications, wireless, enterprise/SMB, consumer technology, telecommunications, clean tech, green building, Smart Grid and mobile technology.
In 2008, the firm changed its name from PR@vantage.
Early Beginnings & Growth
Ilene Adler founded Vantage Communications twenty years ago as an agency centered on raising awareness for domestic and international technology companies. Since then, she has expanded the firm’s focus, and now supports start-up companies with the transition to public companies, and assists those that are acquired by larger companies.
Services
In addition to standard public relation services, Vantage Communications has a full video production team, Vantage Video. Services include executive interviews, corporate inspirational videos, product demonstrations, and taping live from tradeshow floors, and maintains an active YouTube account. The firm also provides graphic design services, and creates social media campaigns (also called Interactive PR) for its clients. In 2010 Vantage Video was named recipient of the AVA Awards in the Corporate Image and Graphic Design categories, respectively.Vantage Communications has also worked with technology blog VentureBeat to organize its annual industry conferences – MobileBeat and GreenBeat.
