Vancha March

Vancha March is a character in The Saga of Darren Shan. He is one of the three vampire hunters and a vampire prince in. He was the Prince that was more dedicated to the old vampire ways and lived in a more "free and wild" nature.

Character History

Vancha March is considered the wildest character in the series. Vancha March is noble and dedicated, but is also rude, dirty, and ugly in appearance, even under vampire standards. He is a burly man, with dyed green hair, and "smells like a wolf". Vancha is very dedicated to the old vampire ways and because of this, only battled using his hands, with the exception of using shurikens, throwing stars which he carved himself.

Vancha March was one of the three chosen vampire hunters to hunt down and kill the Vampaneze Lord. He was first a vampaneze but was re-blooded by Paris Skyle, the oldest of the Vampire Princes. His brother Gannen remained one of the vampaneze and later became the right hand man for Steve Leonard. Vancha was going to commit [...] after he let the Vampaneze Lord escape. He saw his brother, Gannen, with the Vampeneze Lord and just could not fight him due to his sheer surprise. Later on, he managed to recover, and in "Sons of Destiny" he fought brutally with Gannen. He is also not averse to committing torture or worse to get what he wants, although this does depend on circumstance. Vancha is also a Vampire Prince and highly respected by all vampires, but Vancha cannot handle traitors and he would kill traitors. as a Prince he puts his clan before himself.
