USS Liberty Veterans Association
The USS Liberty Veterans Association (LVA or USS-LVA) is an organization of survivors of Israel's attack on June 8, 1967 dubbed the USS Liberty incident.
Organizational structure
The current board of directors of the LVA is the following:
- President: Gary Brummett
- Vice President: Ernie Gallo
- Secretary: Glenn Oliphant
- Treasurer: Moe Shafer
- Editor, Newsletter: Stan White
Jim Ennes, Lieutenant Commander (Retired), runs a website with ties to the LVA, 1. Ennes' co-administrator of the site is former LVA president Joe Meadors. Ennes and Meadors also run 2 with survivor John Hrankowski and an independent researcher. The latter site has no ties to the LVA.
