USA Today All-Joe Team
The USA Today All-Joe team is an annual selection of National Football League players and coaches deemed hard workers and over-achievers that May Be overlooked by the traditional media. Players that have been selected to the Pro Bowl are not eligible for the All-Joe team.
Origin
Presented annually by the USA Today since 1992, the All-Joe team is named after Joe Phillips, a defensive tackle who played for the Minnesota Vikings, San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Rams during a 14-year NFL career.
Pro Bowl alumni
While no players that have previous been selected to the Pro Bowl are eligible for the All-Joe team, a number of All-Joe alumni have gone on to earn Pro Bowl selections. Those players include:

- Cortland Finnegan, cornerback, Tennessee Titans
- Jay Ratliff, nose tackle, Dallas Cowboys

- Casey Wiegmann, center, Kansas City Chiefs
- Wes Welker, wide receiver, New England Patriots
- Antoine Winfield, cornerback, Buffalo Bills
