Urban Mediamakers Film Festival
The Urban Mediamakers Film Festival (UMFF) is a film festival hosted in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The festival takes place annually and has 501(c)(3) charitable organization status. The inaugural festival took place in 2002. Short film Ravishing Rasberry was named Best Animation Film at the 2003 festival. In 2004, Ngardy Conteh's Soldiers for the Streets was screened at the UMFF. Caryn K. Hayes' The World of Cory & Sid was nominated for Best Television or Web Series in 2009. In 2010, Chike Nwoffiah's Sabar received the Audience Choice Award and the Best Feature Film Award. Tony Clomax's 12 Steps to Recovery was named Best Television or Web Series that year. Pardis Parker's The Dance came in second place at the 2011 festival. Michael Holland's music video for Judablue's "Falling" won that year's awards for Best Overall Student Film and Best Student Music Video.
