University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication

The University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication (SOJC) is a public post-secondary school in the U.S. state of Oregon. Founded in 1912, the school is located in Allen Hall at the University of Oregon's Eugene campus. The school is one of 112 journalism schools in the U.S. accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications. The school also runs the George S. Turnbull Portland Center in Portland. SOJC organizes the annual Payne Award for Ethics in Journalism.
