University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET), Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU)
The University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET), was established in the year 2005 with the aim of providing only quality theoretical technical education in Engineering & Technology. The Institute offers six B.Tech programmes of 4 years duration in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Communication Engineering and Biotechnology. In a short span, the U.I.E.T. has become a preferred destination for B.Tech aspirants because of its good infrastructural facilities and excellent faculty compared with those of other institutes in the region.

Academics
The institute offers four year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Communication Engineering and Biotechnology. Postgraduate courses include Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Communication Engineering and Biotechnology.
Admission
Admission is provided once annually, through the All India Engineering Entrance Test (AIEEE) via a counselling conducted by the Haryana State Counselling Society on the basis of AIEEE rank. Admission in M.Tech. is provided on the basis of GATE score & also on basis of a separate test conducted by the institute.
Infrastructure and facilities
The Maharshi Dayanand University Campus has a central library (Vivekananda Library),Sports Complex,an Auditorium (Tagore Auditorium) & various other assets. The MDU campus (including UIET) has Wi-fi as well as LAN connectivity.
Faculty
Each department has its head, and appointed faculty members. The faculty members deliver class lectures, and serve as guides for student projects. Students of U.I.E.T
There are 60 Students (1st year)76 students (2nd,3rd & 4th year)in every branch and all are very good in behaviors, nature etc. Some of are extra-ordinary students,
