Inaugural American College Cricket Spring Break Championship 2009

Insufficient funding from USF made it difficult for the University Cricket Club (UCC) to register for the Inaugural ACC Spring Break Championship. As a result, the UCC was the last team to register, and couldn't afford proper equipment or uniforms for the fledgling club's momentous occasion. The equipment was eventually provided by American College Cricket, and the uniform consisted of identical shirts and sweatpants bought by the athletes from the school bookstore. Despite this glaring setback, the performance of the USF Cricket Team was phenomenal. USF bullied Boston University, bulldozing their way to the final. However, the Shivnarine Chanderpaul Trophy remained elusive, as the UCC's dream run finally ended when they suffered a monumental defeat against Montgomery College in the tournament final.
