The brand was founded by Chi, an Australian businesswoman from a medical research background.

History

Chi, the founder, previously worked at the George Institute for Global Health at the University of Sydney. Observing the outdated practices in the selection and production of ingredients for health supplements, Chi was motivated to create a new line of health products that would meet the modern demands for both quality and innovation in women's wellness.

As of 2024, Unichi has expanded its presence to over 30 countries and regions globally, with its products available at nearly 3,000 online and offline retail locations worldwide.<
