Ulrich Betz is a German scientist and Senior Vice President of Innovation at Merck. As part of this role he has created the Future Insight Prize the Merck Innovation Cup, the Curious - Future Insight Conference and the Darmstadt Science Declaration. He is the founder and chairman of the Future Insight e.V. He is a member of the German Science and Humanities Council.
